Suresh Shyamlal Gupta called it “cheap publicity” and has demanded strict action against Poonam Pandey death hoax. On February 2, a post informing about Poonam's death due to cervical cancer was shared on her official Instagram account. However, the next day, she posted a video clarifying that she faked her death on social media to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
