Ajmer train accident: Passenger train collides with goods train in Ajmer

A massive train accident took place near Ajmer today. Passengers sustained minor injuries after Sabarmati Express collided with a goods train on March 18. The incident occurred at midnight near Madar station in Ajmer district. However, no casualties have been reported so far in the incident. Several passengers sustained minor injuries and  least four coaches and the engine of Sabarmati Express train got derailed. The reason behind the train derailment is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the rescue teams and railway officials reached the incident spot. Due to the incident, several trains have been diverted to different routes. Watch video for more information.
