One of the most interesting battles is that of Sena vs Sena in the Worli constituency. While Worli has always been a bastion of the undivided Shiv Sena, the voters will be voting a split Shiv Sena this Assembly Elections. Giving a competition to Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Aaditya Thackeray is Milind Deora from the Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. Post the demise of Industry giant Ratan Tata, his mortal remains were kept in the NCPA on the 10th of October morning as scores of people gathered at the venue to pay their last respects to him. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani along with wife Nita Ambani paid last respects to Industrialist Ratan Tata in Mumbai. His mortal remains have been taken to Worli Crematorium for last rites.

9th October 2024 marked the end of an era as Industry giant Ratan Tata passed away aged 86. His mortal remains were kept in the NCPA on the 10th of October morning as scores of people gathered at the venue to pay their last respects to him. Post this, his mortal remains were taken to Worli Crematorium for last rites. Mumbai Police on Thursday issued a traffic advisory for late veteran industrialist and Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata's final rites in city. The traffic advisory said that a significant gathering is expected at the crematorium in Jijamata Nagar of Worli for the final rites of Ratan Tata.

Pradeep Nakhwa, husband of Kaveri Nakhwa who tragically lost her life in Mumbai hit & run case in Worli, recounted the devastating event. He described how they were returning home after buying fish when a car suddenly crashed into them. The impact was so severe that they were thrown from their vehicle. Shocked and injured, they couldn't understand what had happened. The driver fled without stopping, dragging Kaveri along with the car. Despite Pradeep's efforts to follow the car, he lost track of it. Later, he discovered that his wife had succumbed to her injuries. He is now seeking justice for his wife and children, expressing frustration over the delay in apprehending the culprit.

In a tragic incident in Mumbai's Worli area on July 7, a woman lost her life in a hit-and-run accident involving a luxury BMW and a motorcycle. The victim, identified as Kaveri Nakhwa (45) from Worli Koliwada, was riding with her husband when the car collided with their bike. Her husband sustained injuries and is currently hospitalized. The Worli Police recovered the BMW from Bandra and have registered a case against two individuals who were in the car during the incident. Mihir Shah, allegedly driving the car, and Rajesh Shah, his father and a leader of Shiv Sena in Palghar district, are involved in the case. Rajesh Shah has been detained, while Mihir Shah is currently absconding.
