This phase extends the North-South Metro Corridor from Phase I, featuring a mainline from APMC to Motera, extending to Mahatma Mandir, and a branch line from GNLU to GIFT City. The project includes an 8 km corridor with 8 stations, highlighted by a 15.4 km viaduct from Motera to Sector 1 with 6 stations. The initiative aims to enhance urban mobility and sustainable infrastructure, with a total investment of ₹3,284 crores. Following the flag-off, PM Modi traveled on the newly inaugurated train.
