PM Modi on 13th of May visited Gurudwara Patna Sahib where he offered prayers and participated in serving food to devotees. He performed Sewa at Gurudwara Patna Sahib In Bihar. This comes amid the fourth phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections. Eyeing on the remaining 26 seats in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a 2-day visit to the state. The Indian Prime Minister performed ‘seva’ and served langar from a steel bucket at Gurudwara Patna Sahib in Bihar. In the video PM Modi can be seen wearing a saffron turban and serving langar. Prime Minister Modi also lent his hands to the Gurdwara management in cooking food for the langar. In 2019, BJP-led NDA swept Bihar by winning 39 out of 40 seats, while Congress won just one seat. RJD, a formidable force in the state failed to open its account.

Houthis attack another vessel with 22 Indians onboard, Indian Navy rescues

The Indian Navy on January 27 doused the fire on Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker Marlin Luanda. The vessel was struck by a Houthi anti-ship missile in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Navy responded quickly. According to Reuters, the tanker was on fire but no deaths or injuries were reported after the vessel was hit. Indian Navy’s guided missile destroyer INS Visakhapatnam deployed in Gulf of Aden responded to the distress call. The vessel had 22 Indian and 1 Bangladeshi crew onboard. Based on request, the firefighting team comprising 10 Indian Naval personnel embarked the vessel in early hours. Notably, Yemen’s Houthi militants have launched waves of exploding drones and missiles at vessels post Israel’s attack in Gaza.

However, cracks have already started appearing in the ‘INDIA’ alliance of the opposition parties. Punjab Congress seems to be ‘unhappy’ with Congress joining hands with Aam Aadmi Party. Punjab LoP Partap Singh Bajwa outrightly rejected the idea of stitching an alliance with AAP in the Punjab 2024 Parliamentary elections. On the other hand, AAP’s Spokesperson in Punjab, Malvinder Kang said that the alliance has been formed in the national interest.
