22-year-old Shivneel Singh was arrested for luring a Fijian girl into sending her explicit photos to him on Facebook and then using them to threaten the victim, Fiji Broadcasting Corporation said today. Singh has been charged with criminal intimidation by a Fiji court and released on bail with a stop-departure order placed on him, the reports said.
After developing an online relationship with the 20-year-old victim, Singh asked the girl to send him her explicit photos. The victim claimed that she was pressurised to send the photos to the accused and was threatened to have an intimate relation with Singh.
Singh met the girl last Friday with the demand that the photos will be posted on the internet if his demands were not
met, the reports said.
