The coronavirus-induced lockdown made ‘work from home’ the new reality for many professionals across the world. People got addicted to attending zoom calls in the comfort of their pajamas and the no transport costs made pockets breathe easy, but the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine and a dip in the infection rate is making companies ask employees to return to office. Well, one worker is not very happy.

‘Ho na payega’ ( It won’t be possible) says Instagram user Harjas Sethi in a viral video where she rants about the perils of going back to office.

“Meri rooh kaanp rahi hain (my soul is shivering)” she says in the video before questioning the whole ‘returning to work’ scenario.

"I want to ask them why they even want to do this [ask employees to work from office]. Everyone is happy, your revenue is increasing, you are saving on transport costs and other facilities," she says in Hindi, with a deadpan face.

Sethi then goes on to say that she has learnt to live in pajamas after packing away her jeans and trousers.

The video’s ending is the funniest where Sethi addresses her employers and says “This video is only for fun. Don’t fire me after watching this. I will come anywhere even to your house to work,” she adds.

The clip was first posted to Instagram a week ago, but gained viral attention after it was shared on Twitter recently.

Many Twitter users took to the comments section to say that they found the video quite relatable.

"Seriously. It's like, she is hearing my thoughts like Professor Charles Xavier and then making a video about it," wrote one.

"WFH for past 1 year!! Now, I'd rather attempt Everest climb than go back to the commute," another agreed.

Sethi took to Twitter to thank viewers for showering her video with love and praise. "Hahah I'm glad you like the video. I posted it on Instagram handle @vellijanani for fun and joined Twitter only to see all the love," she wrote.
