Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Singal confirmed on March 18 that the situation in the city is now peaceful and under control following recent violence. Speaking about the clashes, he stated that over 50 individuals have been arrested, and efforts are underway to identify those responsible for damaging public property. During the incident, 33 police officers were injured. Dr. Singal praised the police for their efforts and assured that action would be taken against the lawbreakers, with relevant legal sections being applied. To maintain order, a curfew has been imposed in some parts of Nagpur, and additional police forces have been deployed. Dr. Singal also mentioned that a meeting will be held with key individuals to prevent similar incidents in the future.
