Several instances of Hindu temples’ vandalisation in Australia have come to the fore in recent times. After recent attacks by Khalistani elements, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised concerns. He discussed the incidents with his Australian Counterpart Anthony Albanese in joint press meeting. Anthony is on a 4-day visit to India and on March 10, he held bilateral talks with PM Modi in Delhi. During the joint statement, PM Modi talked about the issue of temples being vandalised in Australia. Recently, Laxmi Narayan temple was attacked in Australia’s Brisbane. Pro-Khalistan supporters were held responsible for this unlawful act. On Jan 15, Khalistan supporters tried to draw support for their referendum through a car rally in Melbourne. Earlier, in an interview with ANI Editor Smita Prakash, Home Minister Amit Shah talked about this issue.
