President-elect Donald Trump is set to become the 47th U.S. President on January 20, 2025, after winning with 312 electoral votes, defeating Democratic VP Kamala Harris. Trump invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to his inauguration in early November, although it’s unclear if Xi has accepted the invitation.
