On January 2, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke at the launch of the book “J&K and Ladakh Through the Ages” in New Delhi. He emphasized the region`s rich history and culture while highlighting the central government`s efforts in carrying out various development projects in Jammu & Kashmir. Shah also stressed the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of the area. During his speech, he expressed confidence in India`s future success in reclaiming lost territories, indirectly referring to the possibility of integrating Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) with India. The speech underlined the government`s commitment to both progress and cultural preservation in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
