Eleven Naxals, including Tarakka Sidam, surrendered to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Gadchiroli Police headquarters. In a major move, a new police station was also inaugurated to improve law and order in the region. This initiative is part of efforts to break the Maoist control that once ruled the area. Speaking to ANI, CM Fadnavis emphasized the importance of the new police station, stating that the area had been under Maoist influence. He added that the police have now established their presence there, weakening Maoist control. The region is also seeing development, with new roads connecting it to Chhattisgarh, and mobile towers being set up to improve communication.
