Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar confirmed that law enforcement and emergency services are closely monitoring the situation to ensure public safety. Sadhus from 13 Akharas of Sanatan Dharma are performing the sacred 'Amrit Snan,' with the 8th Akhara currently participating.

Thermal imaging technology and crowd management efforts have helped control the vast gathering peacefully. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended congratulations to all devotees, calling the event a living symbol of India's eternal culture and faith.
CM Yogi also highlighted the significance of Makar Sankranti as a festival of gratitude to the Sun God, the father of the universe. Foreign devotees expressed their awe at the spiritual and cultural experience of the Maha Kumbh, emphasising its global significance.
Swami Chidambaranand of Mahanirvan Akhara described the Kumbh as a celebration of the grandeur and unity of Indian civilisation. The Mahamandaleshwar emphasised that the Kumbh demonstrates harmony, with attendees united as Hindus beyond caste distinctions.
