iPhone 15 to OnePlus 11: Top smartphone and tablet launches in 2023

The year 2022 is almost about to end and people are already in a celebration mode. But people are not only basking in the holiday season, they are also excited about smartphone and tablet launches that 2023 will witness. Companies like Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, among others are already working on their upcoming devices and we have already started seeing leaks and rumours of the same. 


So here's a list of top smartphone and tablet launches in 2023:


Apple iPhone 15

There are few iPhone 15 rumours. According to reports, Apple's upcoming next-generation iPhone 15 is likely to feature a 'state of the art' image sensor from Sony, for better low-light performance. "According to GizmoChina, the tech giant has been working on an iPhone Ultra model, which will most likely launch next year. However, it is rumoured that the company might discontinue the 6.1-inch base iPhone model. The rumour had sparked a backlash from many, who took to Twitter to voice out their disapproval of the iPhone 15 Ultra model," said IANS report.

Samsung Galaxy S23

South Korean tech giant Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Galaxy S23 series in the early next year. According to reports, there will be hardware enhancements but no major cosmetic changes. These could include a 40MP selfie cam and a 200MP main camera. Samsung is likely to launch and reveal in February 2023.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Other than the Galaxy S23 Series, Samsung is also likely to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 in 2023.

OnePlus 11

Global smartphone brand OnePlus has announced that its new smartphone, 11 5G, and earbuds, Buds Pro 2, will be officially unveiled at its Cloud 11 launch event in February 2023. “The OnePlus 11 5G, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and other products are driven by our community co-creation spirit and will be equipped with the most advanced technology to provide a refined experience to our users,” Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, Senior Vice President and Chief of Product at OPPO and OnePlus, said in a statement, reported IANS.

The iPad Mini may be smaller than Apple’s other iPad products, but it packs a punch. It has all the features you can find in most iPad products and is light enough to bring anywhere. According to IANS, tech giant Apple is said to be working on a new version of iPad mini which is expected to launch in the latter part of 2023 or in early 2024. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared the information on the micro-blogging platform Twitter and said that the new iPad mini’s main selling point would be its processor. Moreover, he said that the iPhone maker will not replace the iPad mini with a folding iPad in 2025.

OnePlus Pad 5G

OnePlus is also rumoured to foray into the tablet market in India with the launch of its first Android tablet. Called the OnePlus Pad, the first mobile tablet from OnePlus is speculated to break covers alongside the OnePlus 11 series next year in India.
