The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the “very poor” category on Friday due to poor dispersion of pollutants owing to weak winds, according to the IMD. The air quality deteriorated to 346 at 9.30 am on Friday from 333 on Thursday, the official data showed.

Foam politics

Delhi LG V K Saxena has written to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asking him to deal with the issue of toxic foam in Yamuna which “may prove to be injurious to devotees.” He also declared ‘dry day’ on the occasion of Chhath on Sunday.
