Udaipur beheading: Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid issues statement, says incident is an act against Islam

Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Delhi Syed Ahmed Bukhari on Wednesday condemned the brutal murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur and said it has shaken the humanity. A tailor was murdered at a shop Rajasthans Udaipur on Tuesday. He had shared a social media post in support of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma a few days ago, police said. The two accused reached the victims shop on Tuesday afternoon under Dhan Mandi police station area, they said. The life of the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) is full of numerous examples of compassion, tolerance, generosity and humanitarianism. Had the persons who committed this barbaric act studied the life and character of the Holy Prophet and had they been well wersed with the spirit of Quran and Shariah, they would nothvae committed the heinouscrime, the statement furthur said.
