Agency says developers of CWG Village flats have been asked to rectify the fault
A day after MiD DAY reported about water seeping into the basements of Commonwealth Games Village flats, Delhi Development Authority, which had been in denial mode over the issue, finally admitted to the problem. 
In a statement issued on Thursday, DDA spokesperson Neemo Dhar said: "The seepages could not be attended to as the Commonwealth Games were due to be held from October 4, 2010. However, the developer has been directed to rectify the same and the process has already started."
The agency also admitted that CBRI, the agency tasked by it for third party quality assurance had also reported leakage and seepage in both upper and lower basements in its October 2010 report.
