Mukesh Ambani keeps Modi and Rahul Gandhi in his pocket: Arvind Kejriwal

Rohtak: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani kept Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in his pocket.

“Ambani keeps Modi in one of his pockets and Rahul Gandhi in the other,” said Kejriwal. “He has bought many TV channels and newspapers and has told them that in the coming three months they will have to report only on Modi and Rahul Gandhi and banish Kejriwal,” he said.

“Yesterday, an Editor-in-Chief came to my house and asked me to do something about Modi, Rahul Gandhi, but I quit,” he added.

He further said that he had filed an FIR against Ambani and had his Swiss Bank account numbers as well.

“I have filed an FIR against Mukesh Ambani and I want to ask him how many planes he has. Now if he gives you his planes and helicopter, the gas prices will become USD 16,” he said.

“Modi had said that he will bring back the black money of the country so I have brought Swiss bank account numbers of Ambani here,” he added.

He also said that he did not resign from his post to run away from responsibilities but on the grounds of principles.

“People say we don't know much about governance. They (Congress and BJP) give subsidy to Tata and Reliance, but no one speaks but we gave subsidy to the poor and they cried foul,” Kejriwal said.

“But we are determined; we will definitely give subsidy to the poor. I challenge if anyone has done as much work as us in one and a half months then I will quit politics,” he said.

“They ask me why I resigned, the BJP anyway says I ran away, but I quit on the grounds of my principles because the BJP and the Congress didn't let my Lokpal Bill to be passed,” he added. He further said that he had not become the Chief Minster just for the sake of it but to bring a change.

“I didn't go there for the seat of a Chief Minister, I wanted to bring change. I haven''t left politics, I am very much here and I will return if Delhi people vote me back in,” said Kejriwal.

“If you all are happy with your lives, then you may vote for the BJP or the Congress, but if you are unhappy and want a change, then let us fight this battle together,” he said.

“I am not here for Lok Sabha. You have to bring candidates on all 10 seats. We must remove party politics, and this time the Aam Aadmi will contest and win,” he added.
