BBC World Trust's latest FM radio series, Life Gulmohar Style, tracks five young people in search of their destiny as they cope with issues plaguing modern-day India, such as sex selective abortions. Based on the Indian Census statistics that revealed a sharp decrease in the sex ratio (976 girls for 1,000 boys in 1961 to just 927 girls for 1,000 boys in 2001), it's a 156-part Hindi drama series that will also tackle divorce and sexual harassment at the workplace.
