Can't get over the new track from Dev.D? The 5th Natsamrat Natya Utsav in town is for those with a taste for desi drama and humour

If you agree, head to a fun fest that is all set to salute the spirit of Indian theatre. Organised by Natsamrat Theatre, the 5th Natsamrat Natya Utsav, which commences tomorrow is all about comedy, romance and tragedyu00a0 emotions that are key to any well-lived life.

The nine-day do will see participation from groups like Mask (APP), Vivechana (from Jabalpur), Yavnika, Theatrewala and Asmita, who will in all stage 13 plays.
"Our aim is to bring great entertainment on one platform. Due to public demand, we will be staging our three popular playsu00a0Kanjoos, Kambakht Ishq and Kallu, too," said Shyam Kumar, director, Natsamrat Theatre.u00a0 "We will also will be having play screenings in the lawns every evening, which will give visitors a fulfilling experience," he added.
Win-win deal
The event will also witness the Natsamrat Theatre Awards in seven categories Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Critic, Best Writer, Best in Back-Stage and Lifetime Achievement Award for those who
have contributed significantly to the theatre industry. The ceremony takes place on February 1. "We thought there was a need to recognise the talent that the theatre industry has," Shyam signed off.
