Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta filed for divorce after 15 years of marriage, in 2002. Aamir secretly married Reena in 1987, even before his first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak released. The couple have two children, Junaid and Ira.

Status now: Aamir married Lagaan assistant director Kiran Rao in 2005. She was associate producer on Aamir's directorial debut, Taare Zameen Par and has now helmed Dhobi Ghaat, starring Aamir, which is to release in April 2010.
