Mumbai had recorded a temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius. However, on Friday evening, the maximum temperature dropped to 33.7 degrees Celsius
In its latest update, the weather bureau has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm for the city
The city and the suburbs are also likely to experience gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph in the next 24 hours, stated IMD in its latest forecast, issued at 8 pm
For the next 48 hours, the city is likely to witness partly cloudy skies. However, hot and humid conditions are very likely to prevail in the suburbs, IMD said
