After the Maharashtra government won the trust vote in the state Assembly, Shiv Sena`s Eknath Shinde faction gave a petition to Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar for the suspension of 16 MLAs of the party belonging to Uddhav Thackeray`s camp for violation of whip.

Mumbai: Two BMC engineers held for bribery by ACB

Two engineers of the BMC`s Building and Factory department were arrested for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1.90 lakh from a businessman, an Anti Corruption Bureau official said.
