Maharashtra's Thane district has reported three new Covid-19 cases, taking its infection count to 7,47,418, a health official told news agency PTI on Wednesday.

The official further said that with the addition of the latest numbers on Tuesday, the district currently has 12 active Covid-19 cases.
No death was reported on Tuesday, and the number of fatalities in the district so far was 11,969, the official said.
The count of recoveries stood at 7,36,208, he added.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Tuesday recorded 33 fresh Covid-19 cases, one fatality, and 29 recoveries, the health department said.

With these additions, the state's overall tally of cases rose to 81,36,978, while the death toll increased to 1,48,420, a health department bulletin said.
It said since December 24, when the health department started screening travellers coming from overseas, 4,28,944 international passengers have arrived at Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur airports.
Of these, RT-PCR test was conducted on 9,803 passengers and 23 positive swab samples were sent for genome sequencing, said the bulletin.
All the positive samples are referred for WGS (Whole Genome Sequencing), it said.
Out of these 23 RT-PCR positive patients identified till date, Maharashtra accounted for 11 and among them five were from Mumbai, three from Pune, one each from Navi Mumbai, Amravati and Sangli.
Also, four patients were from Gujarat, two from Kerala and one from Goa, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Odisha and Telangana, the bulletin said.
It said 29 patients recovered from the coronavirus infection in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, taking their overall count to 79,88,421, leaving the state with 137 active cases.
The state's coronavirus recovery rate stood at 98.17 per cent.
A total of 9,658 tests were conducted in the state in the last 24 hours, taking their cumulative tally to 8,61,19,189.
