ICC World Cup 2023 semi-final: Mumbai Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023 semi final match that is scheduled to be played in the city.

In a traffic advisory, Mumbai Police said, the ICC World Cup 2023 cricket match is scheduled to be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Hence a large number of spectators are expected to come to the venue in their vehicles. Therefore, In order to prevent obstruction and inconvenience to the public traffic restrictions were being issued by the police.
The traffic notification was issued by Pradnya Jedge, DCP (South), Traffic, Mumbai.
It said, since there are no parking facilities at Wankhede Stadium, Spectators shall use public transport (specially trains/local trains).
Parking Restrictions (08.00 hrs. till the match ends).
1) "C" Road North side from its junction on N.S. Road upto its junction with "E" Road.
2) "D" Road from its junction on N.S.Road upto its junction with "E" Road.
3) "E" Road from the junction of "D" Road upto "C" road junction.
4) "E" Cross Road from the junction upto "Anuvrat" junction.
5) "F" Road from the junction of N.S.Road to the junction of "H" road.
6) "H" Road from the junction of "F" Road to the junction of "G" Road.
7) N.S. Road (South and North bound) from Mafatlal Bath Signal to Air India Junction.
8) "Anuvrat" Chowk to B.D somani Junction.( G road)
Following changes have been made in the routine traffic pattern
(A) 'D' Road shall be one way (from West to East) for vehicular traffic from its junction at N.S. Road (Marine Drive) towards the junction of "E" & "C" Road.
(B) "E" Road shall be One Way (North-South Bound) for all types of vehicular traffic from the Junction of 'D' Road towards its junction of 'B' Road.
Kindly follow below instructions for easier access to the Wankhede stadium
(A) Spectators having tickets of Gate Numbers 01, 02 & 07 of Wankhede Stadium shall alight at Churchgate station & walk towards 'D' Road.
(B) Spectators having tickets of Gate Numbers 04 & 05A of Wankhede Stadium shall alight at Marine lines station & walk towards 'F' Road.
(C) Spectators having tickets of Gate Numbers 03 of Wankhede Stadium shall alight at Churchgate station & walk towards N.S. Road footpath.
(D) All the spectators coming via N.S. Road (marine drive) shall walk on footpath and not on the Road.
(E) Spectators coming in cars shall alight at designated alighting points marked with signage on N.S.Road.
Vehicles can be parked at following places
(A) The Following official limited parking places are available near Churchgate station. Spectators having valid tickets for the world cup semi-final match can show their tickets gate of following pay and parking places to avail free parking.

The police said, "Vehicles parked at other than above places shall be issued E-challan and towed away."
