Three injured in Bandra Worli Sea Link mishap

Three persons were injured when two Maruti Swifts collided towards the Worli end of the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL). This is the third accident in a week on the sea link.

All the three injured have been admitted to Lilavati hospital.

Last week, two people, including a school student died in a collision between a car and a taxi. On Sunday morning, another mishap occurred on the sea link when a car collided with another vehicle while taking a prohibited u-turn on the bridge. However, no one was injured in the incident.

The authorities have installed a board on traffic rules on BWSL, which obviously fell on deaf ears as accidents are still taking place. A police officer from Worli police station confirmed the accident.
