Speaking to mid-day, they said they remember Sheena as a dedicated worker with great social skills, which also ensured that she was the life of every party. They said they had last seen her before she went on leave in April 2012, never to return.

Sincere
When mid-day traced some of her colleagues, who had spent a considerable amount of time with her during the year she was at MMOPL, they said they remember her as a sincere worker.

“She was young, sincere and focused on her work. We noticed on the very first day that right from her dedication to her job and things she was asked to do, to her clothing, she was particular about everything. We all miss her till date,” said a female former colleague, requesting anonymity.

Another colleague recalled how Sheena’s social skills made her the life of every party. “After joining, she barely took any time to get acquainted with us and soon became a very close friend. We attended office gatherings together and she always spoke with everybody and knew how to carry herself. It’s shocking to lose such a wonderful soul,” he said.

Sources confirmed that Sheena had a boyfriend, who they had seen a couple of times during gatherings and parties. The colleagues said that they never saw the man after Sheena went on a holiday in 2012.

MMOPL speak
“Bora had joined Mumbai Metro as an Assistant Manager on June 20, 2011. She took leave of absence on April 24, 2012 and, while she was on leave, she sent in her written resignation,” said an MMOPL spokesperson.
