The agency said this after Sanjeev Khanna requested for driver Shyamvar Rai’s statement
The CBI, which is investigating the Sheena Bora murder case, yesterday told a special court that it had not cited the confessional statement of prime accused Indrani Mukerjea’s former driver Shyamvar Rai in the chargesheet.

The agency filed its reply yesterday, after Indrani’s former husband and co-accused Sanjeev Khanna moved the court through his lawyer Shreyansh Mithare to seek a copy of Rai’s statement.
“Copy of relied upon documents and statements of witnesses have been supplied to the accused,” the CBI said, adding that the court may pass an order it deems fit.
Rai recorded his confession before the magistrate under section 164 of Criminal Procedure Code last November. Indrani, her husband and former media baron Peter Mukerjea, Khanna and Rai are the accused in the case.
Sheena Bora, Indrani’s daughter from an earlier relationship, was allegedly strangled to death and her body was burnt and dumped in a forest in Raigad, in May 2012.
