The women had been lured to the spot on the pretext of being offered a job that would pay her Rs 25,000 as salary every month. The survivor first registered a complaint at D N Nagar police station, after which the case was transferred to Navghar police station in Bhayander. Two men are wanted in the case.

Yesterday, the two accused were waiting in the car, wearing formals, and told the woman to step into the vehicle, saying they would drive her to the office. Without wasting any time, the survivor went to the D N Nagar police station to register a complaint. Later, the police transferred the case to Navghar police station in Bhayander, as the crime had been committed in their jurisdiction.

The woman was admitted to hospital, and later discharged. The cops have taken the phone numbers that the accused had used to contact the survivor. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 376, 377 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
