While some people get inked to personify beautification, there are a few people for whom tattoos act as a symbol of representation. Being a tattoo artist is a commercially viable job, and Randeep Singh aka Artist Gill has made a name for himself as one of the pioneers in this field.

Always bringing newness and creativity to the table, Artist Gill began his journey as a tattoo artist at an early age. He specializes in 3D portrait designs and has a good knack for designing portrait tattoos. Hailing from Gurusar Sudhar township of Ludhiana, Gill has been a professional tattoo artist for more than a decade. Beginning his journey in 2009, he has come a long way in his commendable career.
Unlike the mainstream tattoo artists, Gill has created an identity of his own. He creates his style of abstract and geometric tattoos depending on the concepts given by his clients. The artist says that paying attention to composition and structure is of utmost importance. “It is the first step towards building a strong foundation of creating a tattoo. Adding details to effects, colours and textures help in making a tattoo aesthetically beautiful”, quoted Gill.
More so, a majority of the artist’s work is freehand. Right from the name tattoo to the traditional tattoo, Gill has mastered the art of creating tattoos with finesse. Through his creativity, Artist Gill aims to bring diversity to work. His minute focus on intricate detailing, especially shading and dot work are a few things that are adored by his clients.
Some of the well-known clients who have been inked by Artist Gill are Karan Aujla, Khan Bhaini, Navv Inder, Himmant Sandhu, Virasat Sandhu and WWE star Sukhwinder Grewal. When asked about his future plans, Artist Gill revealed that he wants to explore different parts of the world. Having gained immense recognition in the North, the artist is eventually building his presence across India. “I want to take my creativity across the globe, and I am glad about the response my work has got so far”, concluded Gill.
