Iconic Affordable Project—Western Mumbai

A mid-day recognition for excellence in the ‘Iconic Affordable Project—Western Mumbai’ category. What does it mean to you?
Firstly, let me thank mid-day for recognizing us and selecting us for this particular category. It means a lot to us. We have put forth our best efforts in creating affordable yet luxurious housing and amenities with this particular project. Like a 3-and-a-half acres of open space which includes an amphitheatre, several seating areas, children’s play area, badminton court, fountains, jogging tracks, to name a few. 


From National to International branding, mid-day Icons have gone bigger this year. What are your thoughts on this and how will it help in your branding?
It was really amazing to get this recognition in an international destination such as Dubai, which is held in high regard for the engineering and real estate marvels it has created. For an event held amidst a global pandemic, mid-day did a wonderful job in bringing together so many dignitaries from the industry under one roof. 
What do you think are the redeeming features of your project NG Platinum City that sets it apart from the rest?
Our project NG platinum City has excellent features. For example, in a 1 BHK apartment we have provided a master bedroom. We are also providing fully furnished apartments with different schemes which appeal to a varied customer base. 


How has your experience been with mid-day? What has been the change that you have seen post your association with it?
It is always a great experience to be associated with mid-day. We have been carrying out branding exercises with mid-day for the last two decades. 


With the Covid challenge, do you think the realty industry will see a transformation to match customer changing sentiments?
After the first wave, we had a setback for the first five months at least. The Government policies that were brought into immediate action to aid the market as a whole helped us a lot and we have recovered a lot since then. The second wave was also tough. But yet again we have persevered as a company and the industry as a whole. 

Which would you consider was the turning point/outstanding achievement of your career/company that is noteworthy?
When we get recognition from media powerhouses and the general public we feel like we’re on the right track. Of course, when we hand over a project after completion we feel proud. But the real pat on the back for us is when we give possession to our buyers before the deadlines. The look of joy and gratitude on their face surpasses all other achievements. Thankfully, this has been an outstanding achievement for us especially during the tough times too. 

Have you achieved your vision for your company or is there more to achieve—your future goals?
Yes, our next goal will be to make even more affordable yet luxurious projects in the suburbs to contribute to the development efforts by our Government.
