Governor of Maharashtra felicitates Bollywood Choreographer Feroz Khan for his philanthropy work during COVID

Feroz strongly feels anyone can dance and taking forward this legacy he feels that all should contribute and dedicate one’s life to the service to humanity

He can make anyone dance on his footsteps. Bollywood’s renowned choreographer and reality show judge Feroz Khan was felicitated not for his dance moves but for his philanthropic work  Feroz did during the two yearlong  Covid 19 pandemic.


Feroz was conferred with the respected Rashtra Shakti Awards 2021 from the honorable hands of the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari in an elite ceremony at the Raj Bhavan the official address of the state Governor. 


Feroz in past has choreographed for several superhit Bollywood tracks like Makhna, Dildara, Gal mitthimitthibol, Abhimujhmeinkahin and few more. Khan later became a part of the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 4 as a Judge/Mentor. Adding to his glorious collection Feroz turned a heartthrob post he choreographed for movies like Khubsurat for Badshah’s  sensational number ‘AbhiToh Party Shuru Hui Hai” and “Maa Da Ladla” (remix) for the cult film Dostana.


Feroz strongly feels anyone can dance and taking forward this legacy he feels that all should contribute & dedicate one’s life to the service to humanity and make the world a better place to live.

As an entertainer, choreographer Feroz had to bring smile, laughter not just for people with normal lives but also for those special people who are suffering from illness & ones who are less fortunate.

Feroz feels it’s his duty towards them, thus he contributes some time to make these little angels smile and light their lives even if it is for a few moments.

Feroz adds, “ For those little moments they forget their pain and are happy doing what they only dream of doing ‘Dancing” It’s overwhelming when you make one smile and bring happiness on their faces and therefore during the entire two years of pandemic I made it a point not to make this little hearts feel depressed and lonely”.

Feroz Khan is grateful to these two beautiful souls Anita Peter  from (Cancer Patients Aids Association) and Dr.Girish Trivedi from (Aids Combat International) who has been his inspiration, with their relentless work which motivates Feroz to do something towards the society & make it a better place.

Feroz acknowledges Cancer Patients Aids Association for nominating him for this precious award and the Rashtra Shakti foundation for honoring him with this prestigious award from the  hands of honorable Governor of Maharashtra.

“It’s great to be conferred with an award for what you are known for but being recognized for humanity and compassion makes it special for life, ”Feroz concludes humming a line from his popular track he choreographed ‘ Abi toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’.
