This Mist isn't scary

Netflix has a show based on Stephen King's book, The Mist. As we are huge King fans, we tuned in excited to watch the show. But like most screen adaptations, maybe except The Shining, this falls flat. Unlike his books, that keep your transfixed with their attention to detail and magnificent storytelling, the show couldn't draw us in thanks to poor direction and dodgy acting. Thank you, but we will stick to the print version.

Prawn con
Recently we were at Pali Naka's The Bandra Project, the global pizzeria chain from the UK. While the Manhattan-meets-Goa vibe were impressive, the food didn't quite match up. The Prawn Bottle Masala, cooked in East Indian flavours, was particularly irksome. It had precisely three medium-sized prawns lathered in sauce. Although tasty and flavourful, R425 plus taxes is surely not the price to pay for three pieces.
