The 12th edition of the Mahindra Blues Festival got underway with India's very own Tipriti Kharbangar with her band Mama Tips and the Mama's Boys at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, with an all-women lineup.
During the scintillating performance by Kharbangar, she was joined on the Soulstrat Salon stage by Charlie with her powerful voice and on-stage energy.
It got even better as Kharbangar and Charlie were joined by Kanchan Daniel, who took it up a notch before the three came together to produce a symphony of sounds to conclude their performance.
If Kharbangar started the festival on a high, American singer-songwriter and saxophonist Vanessa Collier was even better with her vocals, music and energy that saw the crowd cheering her on till the end.
To end the night, Dana Fuchs took to the Polka Dot Parlour stage and sang her heart out and even sang The Beatles favourite 'Don't Let Met Down'.
