The chill is in the air and so is the festive season, which brings its own cheer with it. The city is already alive with comedy gigs, music events and workshops for people of all ages. So, if you are looking to attend or participate in something fun, here is a list of some handpicked events that could keep you busy throughout the week

The weekend is here and if you are still undecided about what you are going to do to unwind, fret not because there is a lot happening in the city. Laughs can be heard outside venues hosting stand-up comedy gigs and that is an encouraging sign. It is not only the giggles but also the tunes that are finding their way back in the city’s lanes as city.  
 
From comedy gigs to music events and even engaging workshops for children and adults, here is a list of handpicked events happening in the city over the next one week.   
 
Evergreen tunes  
Singer Lucky Ali, the eternal favourite of almost every Indian, will be performing in the city this evening. Known for his soulful tunes, expect him to sing his heart out at one of the first live-indoor concerts in the city. Most fans of indie and Bollywood music won’t need a nudge to sing and sway to crowd favourites like ‘O Sanam’, ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ and more, this weekend.

Time to scribble  

Looking to learn something new? Attend this doodling and lettering workshop at HobbyStation Studio that will teach participants different doodling as well as lettering techniques. Taking time out from a busy schedule will not only help to learn scribbling in free time better but also how to use it to relax and unwind.  
 
When: November 21

Just for fun 

Stand-up comedian Samay Raina will be performing his newest post-pandemic set for a live audience at Above The Habitat. The 90-minute special promises to give you a reason to laugh, especially after a difficult year that so many people have had. For those who are around Khar and looking to step out late on a Thursday post their work timings, this gig will be worth your time.  
 
When: November 25  
Where: Above the Habitat, Khar (West) 
Time: 9 pm onwards

Bonding time  
Take a break from work and head out with your child to spend some time bonding with each other. Magic Beans, a city-based activity centre is hosting a one-hour session for mothers and their children to bond with each other through a curated list of activities. They include playing with each other, rhyme time and action songs and language development among others that will not only keep the child busy but also help mothers understand them better.  
 
When: November 22, 24 and 26

Laugh it out
 
City-based television star and stand-up comedian Sunil Grover will look to tickle the funny bone at R City Mall next week. Known for portraying a wide variety of characters on-screen, he will bring them to life off the screen and perform them live in this two-hour set. Expect to have a good time, especially after a hectic day or week at work, resuming to the office space or if you are still working from home.
