On leaving a luxurious life and stable job in Dubai, Adnan said, "I saw a movie that inspired me and I decided to move from Dubai to Mumbai. I moved out after a year and the weight of what I did donned on me at the airport."
"I was sitting at McDonald's and then it hit me that it’s the last time I’m going to be eating this in a while," he added.
Speaking about the culture shock he experienced in Mumbai he said, "The traffic and lack of personal space in India used to get to me. In the beginning I used to travel by bus to save money. I was travelling in a bus and a man’s face was an inch away from mine."
Moving on to his popular TV shows he said, "Ishq Subhanallah was more tiring than Katha Ankahee. I used to be so tired that I would wake up with my feet hurting."
The actor revealed that he recently experienced a personal win. "People used to make fun of my dancing but I have this mentality where I cant back down. Recently I did one dance where people clapped, that day it became a hardcore reality that one can do anything they want to."
Is the actor open to a reality show like 'Bigg Boss?' "Bigg Boss is not my jam. I have to be creative in a day. On my day off I either have to watch a film, write or go for dance, flight class. It’s only on a vacation that I allow myself to do nothing productive."
Speaking of vacations the actor revealed, "I want to go to the Alaskan forests and spend time there, it's a childhood dream."
