Here's why Salman Khan gave Bigg Boss a miss

Salman Khan

Over the weekend, Salman Khan was missing from Bigg Boss 14. The star host interacts with contestants to discuss the various happenings in the house in the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. Instead, television actors Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Tinaa Dattaa, dancer-actor Raghav Juyal and writer-host Haarsh Limbachiyaa featured as guests. Sallu is known to honour his Bigg Boss commitment even when shooting and travelling.

So, what made Sallu give it a skip? Turns out the reality show was originally slated to end around January 17, but the producers and the channel decided to extend it by a month. This not only affected the superstar’s other commitments, but also his contract for the show. It ended with the original date set for the finale.

So, he was no longer bound to shoot. The makers are drawing up a new agreement for the extended schedule. The buzz is that Khan is now asking for more. Bigg Boss has always been full of drama, here’s one more.

Earlier on Monday, Khan shared an official statement revealing that his much-awaited flick Radhe will be releasing in theatres on Eid this year. He wrote, "Sorry it has taken me a long time to revert to all the theatre owners... It’s a big decision to make during these times. I understand the financial problems that the theatre owners/exhibitors are going through and I would like to help them by releasing Radhe in theatres. In return, I would expect them to take utmost amount of care and precautions for the audience who would come to the theatre to watch Radhe. The commitment was of EID and it will be Eid 2021 inshallah. Enjoy Radhe this year in theatres on Eid. God willing..."
