Here's how Remo D'Souza reacted to the viral video of man calling remdesivir as 'Remo D'Souza'

Remo D’Souza

Remo D’Souza made light of an incident when a citizen used his name in place of the vital drug, remdesivir. A video of a disturbed citizen complaining to a reporter about the lack of necessary steps taken to address the pandemic, sees him erroneously refer to the “injection, Remo D’Souza”, which is apparently being sold at a hiked price. Filmmaker and choreographer shared the viral video on his Instagram page and wrote, "Don’t miss the end. #ciplakaremodsouza #justforlaugh [sic]." D’Souza’s industry friends had a field day poking fun.

After recovering from his health ailment, in March, Remo made his first public appearance on the dance reality show 'Dance Deewane' as a special judge. Last year, D'Souza was rushed to hospital after suffering cardiac problems. He underwent angioplasty.

Remo rose to fame as a choreographer, before making his transition into filmmaking with 'F.A.L.T.U' in 2011. He went on to helm 'ABCD: Any Body Can Dance' (2013), 'ABCD 2' (2015) and 'Race 3' (2018). His last directorial 'Street Dancer 3D' starring Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, opened in 2020. Remo has given a break to skilled dancers such as Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande and Punit J. Pathak in his films. In February, he launched his music label B-Live, to support budding singers in small town as well as the cities. The music label has already launched over 20 songs featuring singers like Ishaan Khan, Abhinav Shekhar, Abhi Dutt and Shambhavi Thakur.
