The day starts with Anuj ‘buying time’ by doing a solo dance on stage till the time Anupamaa drives her way as fast as possible to make it to the school programme. Despite all his efforts, Anupamaa still does not reach. Babuji feels very repentful for not waiting back at home so that Anupamaa could have attended the function. Meanwhile, Anuj keeps on pepping up chhoti Anu by saying that Anupamaa will never be late. Anupamaa’s vehicle gets stopped at the ‘check-naaka’ by the traffic police, who tells her to divert her route as construction work is going on. Back here, when it’s time for Anupamaa and chhoti Anu’s performance, chhoti Anu starts crying seeing Anupamaa still not come. Anuj feels extremely regretful about Anupamaa not being able to make it.
