As Sooryavanshi nears its March release, filmmaker Rohit Shetty admits that the Akshay Kumar starrer brings with it immense pressure. After all, the actioner is the latest addition to his cop universe after the Singham franchise and Simmba (2018). "I feel the pressure, but of the 14 films I have made, 11 have been blockbusters. I am blessed to receive so much love from the audience. I tell my team to give 10,000 per cent to each film," says the hitmaker.

Even as he gives the finishing touches to the cop thriller, Shetty will slip into his anchor role for the new season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, which kicks off this weekend. "This time, it has been shot in Bulgaria. I had shot for Dilwale [2015] there, so I recommended the country as I was familiar with the stunt team there."

The filmmaker, who started his television stint as one of the judges on Comedy Circus, completes a decade of being on the small screen. "Television made me a household brand. People knew me as a filmmaker, but being on the tube put a face to my name."
