After bagging the role of Anil Kapoor’s boss in the second season of crime-thriller 24, Sakshi Tanwar is set to return to Ekta Kapoor’s camp.

It was with Ekta’s long-running daily soap, 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' (2000-2008), that the actress became a household name — the epitome of an ideal Indian bahu. Then they joined hands for 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain', another successful show which aired between 2011 and 2014.

During a recent chat with Ekta, she revealed that she had two names on her mind for her upcoming show Kavach…Kali Shaktiyon Se — that of Mona Singh and Sakshi. As we already know, Mona is doing the supernatural show, but the Czarina of small screen industry has not forgotten about Sakshi.

“I was sure that Kavach could either be done by a Sakshi or a Mona,” she said. So, was Sakshi approached for the role? “No, I did not. I have another show for Sakshi, but I am not going to talk about that for now,” added Ekta.

Our guess is that it will be a hatke show, a far cry from Ekta’s signature saas-bahu dramas which she herself doesn’t seem interested in any longer. Watch this space for more.
