Konkana Sen Sharma set to debut on the small screen?

Sources say that Konkana Sen Sharma is likely to soon make her television debut

If sources are to be believed, filmmaker Nikhil Advani, who is best known for directing hit films such as Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq, has now approached actress Konkana Sen Sharma for a fiction show that he is producing for a popular TV channel.

A source says, “Nikhil is very keen on signing on Konkana for the lead role. But things are still at the nascent stage. Nothing has been finalised yet.”

It may be pointed out that a number of film actresses are making appearances on television these days. Raveena Tandon is hosting a chat show, Simply Baatein, while Sonali Bendre will be seen with Apurva Agnihotri in the fiction show, Ajeeb Daastan Hai Yeh. On the other hand, Simone Singh is playing a pivotal role in Ek Hasina Thi. It remains to be seen if Konkona will take up this TV offer. The actress and Nikhil Advani remained unavailable for comment.
