Television heartthrob Gautam Rode got married to his long-time girlfriend Pankhuri Awasthy in an intimate wedding ceremony on Monday

Television heartthrob Gautam Rode got married to his long-time girlfriend Pankhuri Awasthy in an intimate wedding ceremony on Monday. They got married in Rajasthan's Alwar city, reported Bombay Times. Other details about the wedding reported by the daily were that the wedding functions included mehendi ceremony, an engagement party and a cocktail night. Pankhuri wore a bright pink lehenga for the mehendi, while Gautam was dressed in a contrasting blue kurta.

It was a hush-hush affair with only immediate family members and close friends invited for the occasion. Gautam and Pankhuri are introverts and they have always remained guarded about their personal lives. They have been together for almost two years now and decided to get engaged during Diwali.

Gautam had secretly gotten engaged to Pankhuri- her co-star from the popular mythological show, 'Suryaputra Karn'. They met on the set and love blossomed, which eventually found its way.

Here are a few pictures shared by both Gautam and Pankhuri from their 'shagan', 'haldi', 'mehendi' and marriage ceremony. Gautam shared his photo from shagan ceremony and wrote, "All set for our shagan." While sharing the other picture from his mehendi ceremony, he stated, "New Beginnings #mehendi."
