The trailer for Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 made its grand debut in Chennai on Sunday. The trailer launch was met with immense excitement and anticipation from fans and film enthusiasts alike. Kangana looks stunning in the title character, as she plays a dancer in Vettaiyan Raja's court who is well-known for her beauty and dance abilities.

The Chandramukhi 2 trailer begins with a large joint family arriving at a mansion to solve a problem. They are not, however, permitted to enter the south block of the mansion that houses the lovely Chandramukhi.
Kangana Ranaut attended the trailer premiere event in Chennai dressed in a yellow and blue saree with a strapless blouse. Her hair was done in a bun with a gajra wrapped around it.
Last month, the audio for Chandramukhi 2 was released in Chennai. Oscar-winning music composer MM Keeravani composed the film's music. During the event, the music composer praised Kangana and stated, "She has given a stunning performance, and everyone will get blown away after seeing Kangana’s shocking act as Chandramukhi on the big screen." Kangana posed with Keeravani at the event and wrote along with it on her Instagram Story, "With my absolute favourite and the Pride of Bharata, academy and multiple national awards recipient Shri MM Keeravani."
A few tracks from the film have already been released. Song Swagathaanjali, featuring Kangana Ranaut as Chandramukhi was written by Chaitanya Prasad and sung by Sreenidhi Tirumala. Moruniye, which features Raghava Lawrence, was composed by MM Keeravani and performed by SP Charan and Harika Narayan, with lyrics written by Vivek.
Vadivelu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mithun Shyam, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, T. M. Karthik, and Subiksha Krishnan also feature in Chandramukhi 2. It is the sequel to the Tamil horror comedy Chandramukhi, which featured Rajinikanth and Jyothika and was a box-office success. The film, produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, will be released on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 15 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On the work front, Kangana was last seen in ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, in a cameo role. Apart from ‘Chandramukhi 2’, Kangana has ‘Emergency’, in which she will be playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
