TOMORROW X TOGETHER created history by becoming the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza at Chicago in August 2023.

The global Gen Z icons have quickly emerged as a sincere voice representing common experiences and emotions of youth across the globe through their alternative-style musical narratives and iconic performances. The quintet comprises leader Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai.

Hours before TXT's headline performance at Lollapalooza 2023, a speculated setlist circulated on Twitter among the MOA fandom on August 5, 2023. This prediction was based on fan-found spoilers, including potential sounds from the band's stage rehearsal. As per the potential setlist, the quintet would perform about nine songs. Earlier in the day, TXT's Taehyun had texted fans on the Bubble app, calling this year's setlist 'insane.' He also mentioned that they received nearly double the performance time that they had last year. They performed from 8.30 pm to 10 p.m. at Chicago and fans were able to view their favourite band on Weverse live - and good thing too, because MOA is going berserk over the way they set the stage on fire with surprise additions and sleek moves.

Twitter discourse has exploded with fans excitedly discussing TXT's performances and dissecting their nitty-gritties. Their performances so far at Lollapalooza have been full of drama, theatre and fanfare - including Yeonjun using a swear word to hype up the crowd (which is considered risque and unconventional in the Korean entertainment world) and Beomgyu literally setting a rose on fire during their iconic 'Good Boy Gone Bad' track. As if the stage wasn't already burning with passion!

MOA had predicted that TXT would perform fan favourites like 'Lonely Boy' and their recent collaboration with the Jonas Brothers 'Do It Like That.' The quintet certainly delivered on these promises and went a step further by performing surprise tracks like 'Thursday's Child Has Far To Go' - a line derived from the popular nursery rhyme. The ambiguous and frequently discussed line of the poem provides an excellent opportunity for Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai to delve into their personal and artistic development. Taehyun noted that this line could pertain to TXT's own journey, indicating they also have "far to go."

In July 2022, TXT became the first K-pop group to perform at Lollapalooza. Just one year later, the trailblazing global phenomenons will make history once more as not only the first K-pop group, but also the second K-pop act after BTS’ J-Hope to headline the festival. Last year, J-Hope performed tracks from his solo albums 'Jack in the Box' and 'HOPE World.'

With their first appearance at Lollapalooza last year, TXT had left audiences in a frenzy with their electrifying energy on stage. The groundbreaking act is adding to the heat and excitement of the midsummer festival this year as they dominate the stage with their ultimate one-of-a-kind performance.
