Adarsh Gourav, who rose to fame with his act in 'The White Tiger', has revealed in a recent interview that he is in a relationship.

Indian actor Adarsh Gourav earned global spotlight with his nomination at the 74th British Academy of Films and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards for his performance of Balram Halwai in 'The White Tiger', in the Leading Actor category. Based on Aravind Adiga's novel of the same name, earned writer-director Ramin Bahrani a nomination for the 'Best Adapted Screenplay' category at the upcoming Oscars as well as the BAFTAs. The film also features actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Rajkummar Rao.

The actor when asked about his relationship status shared, “I am dating someone who is a graphic designer. She is absolutely cool about me talking regarding our relationship.” In the #StripitorSayit section of the show, the heartthrob also revealed that he has been one of the worst exes. Adarsh when asked about one of his worst breakups said that “I have never faced a worst ex. On the other hand, I have always been the worst ex.”


Trained in classical music in his hometown Jamshedpur, it was only after his father's transfer to Mumbai, that his acting career set about. While performing at a prominent arts festival in the city, Gourav was approached and asked if he’d be interested in acting. Excited by the idea of being on screen, Gourav agreed, thus embarking the journey of his acting career and, after multiple auditions, landing the role of young Shah Rukh Khan in 'My Name Is Khan'. For his role in The White Tiger, Adarsh went to great lengths. Besides staying in Chalkari Basti, a village in Jharkhand, Adarsh worked in a small food cart in Delhi. He washed dishes and ran errands for the owner without disclosing his identity.
