Anatomy of a Fall releasing in India

Following its successful international debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, the film is now set to grace Indian theatres, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience. In this Palme d’Or-winning psychological thriller, a celebrated writer finds herself on trial when her husband plunges to his death from their secluded
chalet. What begins as a murder investigation soon transforms into an interesting journey into the depths of a tumultuous marriage.

Kamal Gianchandani, CEO of PVRINOX, stated, "Bringing Anatomy of a Fall to Indian theaters is a momentous occasion for PVRINOX. The international success of this gripping psychological thriller, coupled with the brilliant craftsmanship of Justine Triet and Arthur Harari, makes it a true gem. The unparalleled fandom for thrillers and murder mysteries in India ensures that our audience is in for an unforgettable experience. The best line that perfectly captures the essence of this movie is, 'Continually takes your breath away.' From the edge-of-your-seat script to Sandra Huller's power-packed performance, this film keeps you guessing until the very last second."

Maitreyee Dasgupta, Co-Director, Jio MAMI, added, "We are thrilled to bring these exceptional titles to Jio MAMI audiences in association with our partners. Anatomy of Fall was one of the most-watched films at our festival in 2023, and we are excited to bring it back for people who couldn't get the chance to watch it at the festival. Through our Year Round Programmes, we not only aim to bring the best cinema and creators from around the world face-to-face with the Indian audience but also provide an excellent platform for filmmakers and film audiences to create exposure to the key aspects of the film and filmmaking process,
leading to ease of creation, business, and a more cinema-aware audience."

What sets this courtroom drama apart is its suspenseful mood. To make it look more authentic and interesting, director Justine Trie mentioned, "We received valuable guidance from a criminal lawyer named Vincent Courcelle-Labrousse. This allowed me to create a distinctly French film and take a different approach
from the more spectacle-driven American courtroom dramas."
