Today, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. She married the actor-director, aged 50, last year, marking their reunion as a couple nearly two decades after their initial breakup. Their reconnection has been widely dubbed as 'Bennifer 2.0.'

Amid rumors of their rekindled relationship post the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, Jennifer validated the speculation in an interview with People ahead of her romantic comedy Marry Me, featuring Owen Wilson. Discussing the differences between Bennifer 2.0 and their previous engagement in the early 2000s, she said that she feels grateful for getting a second chance with Affleck. As children, they had been naĂŻve and let differences get in the way of their relationship - but as older, wiser people, they better understand how to nurture the bond between them and balance it with personal well-being and public attention.
Lopez reaffirmed her gratitude towards the universe for bringing her together with Affleck a second time as she posted sweet photos on Instagram, celebrating their relationship. The photos featured her and Affleck on their wedding day. The second slide featured the couple during a special occasion (perhaps their honeymoon or wedding afterparty) as they shared an intimate kiss with fireworks marking their union in colourful explosions.Â

Yesterday, JLo also posted an anticipatory August dump style photo thread. The thread featured some sexy photos of the singer in a bikini but also featured a sweet tribute to her husband Ben Affleck with a close up picture of her necklace collection. Amidst the silver chains was one hung with the letters of his first name, as her accessorized hand reached toward it. It seems like JLo keeps her husband close to her chest, quite literally.
