Following his May release, Subtract, with his latest album Autumn Variations, Ed Sheeran presents what could well be termed as one of his most lacklustre collections. While Sheeran’s 2019’s No 6 Collaborations Project delivered one gem after another, there isn’t a single number in this selection that manages to instantly grab a listener’s attention. With uninspired lyrics that references instances he has already tackled in previous albums, Sheeran leaves a lot to be desired.
