The actor, who plays Superman in the highly-anticipated movie, refuted the rumour during a chat, reported Variety Online.
In addition to denying the rumour, the 'Man of Steel' actor said Ben Affleck was 'great' as Batman and shared that he was not injured following fighting scenes opposite Affleck's Caped Crusader.
"Are you kidding? I'm the Man of Steel," he joked. When asked if 'Batman v Superman' would be more epic than 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', he simply said, "You'll see."
There were reports that 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' would be split into two parts after a photo of what appeared to be a screengrab from the movie's trailer surfaced.
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
